Has anybody got a dead imperial 0 to 1 " Moore & wright Micrometer that still has the ratchet spring , thimble and securing screw on the barrel assembly .
I've got hold of a used micrometer as above that is accurate , cost me seven pounds off fleabay but has the above bits missing ……. didn't realise it at the time of buying .
It's not the end of the world if no one has such a beast as I also have a much newer better imperial micrometer with case & spanner .
It would be nice to have the quality slightly oily engineering one in the machine tools box and the older one at my computer desk in the home once I've double degunged it.
