Is there anyone out there with extensive knowledge of the M300 feedbox?
Mine all works perfectly well apart from when in the ‘R’ position there’s nothing, other than sometimes you get a slight twitch on the lead screw when initially selecting.
‘R’ is required for around half of the metric pitch selections in the feedbox.
I’m suspecting it to be a broken selector or at best a sheared roll pin.
I’ve looked in the manual(for what it’s worth) but it’s unclear where the selector forks pick up on the gear shaft.
I’m trying to get as much info and insight as possible prior to stripping off the feedbox for an internal examination.
Any help or assistance would be greatly received.
