I have a harrison horizontal mill with a vertical head, I have a manual, im missing some pick of gears for the table feed and was wondering about employing some other method of speed selection, perhaps a toothed belt drive, ideally I would like the original gears but im informed they are made from rocking horde dung:/
my second problem is that there is a small amount of slop in the single v way on the knee for the cross slide and the manual has little to no info on how to adjust for this wear, im thinking I need to regrind but I said I would ask before taking it apart for a proper inspection.
