Think I've finally found a decent local independent garage.
After moaning on here about various less than satisfactory experiences with garage car repairs I had a recommendation from a workmate to try the place he's been going to for years.
Only a small place, one lift, very clean and tidy husband and wife team both on the spanners.
Just done the cambelt on my fiesta.
Good price, good parts, but most importantly for me a proper bill showing charges.
It came in a ring binder sleeve with a business card, smelly magic tree and a keyfob, they give the car a hygiene clean, left it smelling like Boots (the chemist).
The old belt was showing signs of bieng perished, lots of cracking when bent, cars only done 50000 but it's ten years old.
So all in all I'm a happy bunny
