Iv a thermal arc 202 and it’s fantastic but pretty much exact same machine as parweld.
I went thermal arc as my dc tig is thermal arc and after 6 years with no issues I stuck with the same also my supplier is a dealer so I know il be looked after with after sales .
Check your local suppliers as a lot of machines are the same just you might get better after sales with a local dealer
The one thing you have to reconcile yourself with is having to pay more for an Ac capable machine. You also need at least 180-200 amp capacity.
The Miller Diversion 180 is quite good as it is very easy to set up. I used one at work for maintenance welding of mainly 6082. It isn't really an industrial machine but it performed very well indeed.
At home I have an RTECH. Their machines are Chinese made but the key components, the igbt's are Siemens I believe. Their after sales is really good too. They have a lot of tutorials etc online.
This is part of the problem with this type of thing. You can only really talk about machines you have experience with. Fortunately on this site there are lots of people with experience of diverse units.
