not for a table....or laminated
Anyone got any specs, thickness, type etc.
Thanks in advance.
I’ve actually got a couple of smoked glass toughened sheets I used on a coffee table years ago sitting behind the sofa. Been meaning to put them in the freebies for a while. What size do you need ?
I would think if you can get the glass first, it might be easier to make your framework to fit the glass.
I'm also assuming toughened glass is tricky or expensive to cut - which is partly why I'd maybe do the above.
All the Best,
CJ
Otherwise it goes "ping!"glass has to be cut to size before toughening.
Thanks for the offer, just at planning stage atm but am leaning towards perspex for ease of working with.I’ve actually got a couple of smoked glass toughened sheets I used on a coffee table years ago sitting behind the sofa. Perspex, Lexan, or whatever you wish to call it.
True, but we used to make staging decks for touring out of the 18mm stuff, and it lasted a season. That'll scratch if you give it a hard look.
