Hello all,
I have a GKN arcmaker fcr400 with an old sterling multifeed 2e wire feed. The wire feed has seen better days, but when we had a look at it today i was surprised to see the input voltage from the GKN unit to the wire feed was around 120VAC. I expected about 40V DC, I think this is more normal for wire feeder supply.
Does anyone know if 120VAC is typical? If so can anyone recommend a wire feeder that will work with this voltage. I have seen cheap miller suitcase units on ebay but they are only 110V DC input.
Thanks
Matt
