Hi all, just got a Sip migmate 150 turbo of #bay for £40 + £20 p+p !
Not actually tried it yet (no wire/gas !) but seems to be all there and quite new.
My question is.....
I am going to plug weld a panel to an accident damaged car project and will probably have to do it outside.
I am going to use gasless wire as i wont be using the welder for some time after aswell (may even sell after), however the Migmate i have is NOT the dual purpose one and was wondering if i could use gasless wire in it ?
It says in the instructions that theres a different feed roller for gasless wire thats has 'knurls' in the groove. Will i be ok using the standard 0.8 roller and maybe up the tension a bit as i have'nt got a knurled one ?
Out of interest whats the difference in a dual purpose Sip migmate 150 turbo and a normal gas Sip migmate 150 turbo ? is it just this knurled roller ?
