A little I did a while ago, made this using an Oxy kit, large peice of sheet metal, a metal roller, and a hacksaw in college. Wasnt part of the course, but I found time to do it its made of 1mm thick plain sheet steel. The welding looks a little neater when seen up close rather then a photo.
After the plasma cutter arrices, I will get a Roller. (need to find more work to pay for these toys)
I think I could do this neater using the new Tig welder, but not without a roller.
Each section was rolled, then seam welded. Then I made slices to get the correct angles, and welded all the parts together one at a time. No maths or measuring tools were used, but all the exit holes show about 46mm Diameter when I checked it with a Vernier.
Welding was the second course I did after leaving school 3 years ago, and this website has been an inspiration to get back into it.
