Hello to all,
I had written a little introduction in few words, but it seemed that I clicked on preview then close the window, rather than posting it! Aaaaaaargh
So my name is Gabriel. I am 19.
I am planning to restore my Grandfather's car, an old Renault 12 Automatic type 2, in need of welding ( especially the fenders, sills and floors ).
I will be looking for a MIG after this summer, as I plan to work a bit to get some money then consider to buy the best welder.
I have already seen some prices over here, pretty expensive for a 4 seetings MIG ( around £200 ), and so I might consider to look for a second-hand one in the U.K.
I use the occasion of my introduction to congratulate the webmaster for having made such website and this forum ; MIG welding ( or at last, " welding with a wire " ) is interesting more and more people planning to restore an old car for instance, and it is a very good idea to have made such site with a lot of photos showing what can be done with a MIG welder, and also the status of " international language " of english let people from all over the world to get informations and contacts!
If at all anyone living in England, but not too far from France, has a SIP Migmate 150 for sale at a good price, and planning to sell it but not in a hurry, please send me a private message.
Cheers,
Gabriel.
