For a branded item, these must be the worst discs I have ever used

Let's be fair though. How many footballers would you expect to be ill. (Spin the center out of disk) None really but 1 collapsed during the Euros and one of the best has had to retire at 33.
So if we equate disks to footballers most of good and the odd ones are a bit dodgy.....but at times you can get some right crap ones.

Difference is, slitting discs are useful items.

I was given some 115mm 3M cutting discs a few years ago, glad i didnt pay for them because as soon as you touched them to the work they simply evaporated! I use SAIT ones & they are excellent

I use the cheapest 115mm x 1mm disc's I can find,
They have all done me a sterling service

I use Blue Spot and never had any issues for years and years.

Totally underwhelmed. Usually use Norton,but couldn’t get any in a hurry. No chunks out the edge,it just gave up the will to live very early on

No being flippant..but seriously, do cutting discs actually go stale over time? (Assuming dry storage.) It seems a bit incredible.

I had a couple boxes of 125mm Aldi slitting discs which were good performers and lasted well.
Then they got soaked in the flood.
After they'd dried out they were utterly useless. They still cut well, but the disc vanished rapidly.
