Im about to fix some animal pens to an existing concrete floor, in one of my barns. The floor is near enough 6" thick, as I laid it.
Im looking to use fairly standard off the shelf gates, to make a few pens. In effect I will have a 9ft gate on one side of the post and a 5 foot counter balancing, on the other side of the post.
Posts will be 80sq bx, ne a plate base.
Opinions on the base size, and fixing size and type please.
My thoughts are 300sq 6mm late, with 4 m 12 rawl bolts.
