    This is an old kids mountain bike we found in the river.

    I chopped the frame apart and re-positioned the neck and a few other bits.
    Chopped the forks and extended them to 3ft.
    My boy in the pics was made 8 years ago - using a well tried and tested welding technique :D easier than Mig I tell you.

    What do you think?

    Thats going to be very wheelie prone ;)
    As kids we were always messing round building our own pushbikes, and one of my hybrids was a raleigh chopper but with a full length pair of forks from a honda novio complete with moped drum brake et all. That had about the same geometry and we gave it up as a faliure as it was a sod to ride day to day because of it...
