Hi fellas,
oh and ladies of course, just in case Well I've finally bought myself a mig welder, but externally,it looks a bit clapped out. Having tried to save for a new one around £400(welder,gas,wire,mask and gloves),it wasn't happening,so I resorted to buying a second hand one £90 plus mask.
I've just tried to do a bit today, but, because of lack of time in a day,and squashing all errands in a day,I didn't weigh up the connection from the regulator to the bottle. The bottle requires a male connection from the regulator, but unfortunately the regulator requires a male fitting, both are female as in picture
Would it be wise to use a hexagonal nipple? like this
thanks
Paul
