Hello my old 45 ton kingsland steelworker has developed a fault. On turning it on it makes all the right noises. Pump etc. And on putting my foot on the pedal again right noise. Pressure in hydraulic hoses i can feel . But nothing moves shear etc . Wonder would it be the ram . ? Phase down on electrics ? Any ideas please peter

Is there a pressure relief valve that's diverting the fluid out of the pump back to the tank? If it sounds right then the electrics must be fine and I'd imagine the pump would be too.
