I've tested it and it's a GREAT machine , I love expecially the pulsed force arc as we build a lot of steel carpentry and the possibility to change the program while welding , and all the other stuff .
But perfection doesn't exist so I would like to know pros and cons and if this machine has any problem ( even if it looks and works like a war tank )
EWM machines are some of the best in the business. Jim will be able to tell you better than most others.
They're made exceptionally well, weld amazingly and have features that other brands could only dream of.. just my two cents.
Well I’d say the only barrier to getting one is the initial outlay.
The benefits they can offer are so numerous though it’s no wonder it’s EWMs flagship model.
Starting it’s X-Net quality and productivity monitoring software to it’s torch with an oled display and work light it’s packed with innovative features from start to finish.
Optional digital gas flow meter, spool weight and spool heating function it really does help to cut down on inefficiency.
It doesn’t stop there, blue evolution saves power and time using standby modes, power saving fan as needed and high speed process like force arc and root arc.
Then there’s the easy job store modes, operator access levels with key fobs, bar-code identification of jobs and procedures. Machine status indicator, numerous panel and interface options. And the party piece, position weld. Simply press a button and the same setting you were using for a downhand fillet instantly changes to enable a vertical up.
It’s got so many optional extras it’s an incredibly versatile machine.
