ESAB Rogue 180 MMA Settings

HI

My Esab Rogue MMA machine has arc force and hot start settings that go from minus 10 to plus 10.

I'm curious to know when you would use the minus settings as I have never seen this before. Would a minus hot start actually be a cold start? I can't even begin to think of why a minus arc force would be used.

If anyone could explain this I would be most grateful and my brain can rest easy again!

Not familiar with the machine as it was after my time at esab they came about. All you can do is try it both ways
