All,
I’m looking for recommendations for entry level lathes / mills / pillar drills.
Space is at a premium as my home workshop is a 5m x 1.8m shed so would likely need to be in the smaller size. The floor is a timber suspended frame so probably couldn’t get away with anything with too much weight either.
Currently using a drill press on loan from a mate but will be looking to get my own at some point.
Similarly, I don’t need but would like to get a mill, so is killing two birds with one stone in getting a small tabletop mill using it also as a drill press an option? Or is that trying to achieve too much out of one piece of kit.
Lastly, I’d like a lathe at some point as well. These are all long term goals but any recommendations of what you’ve used that’s worked and not would all be appreciated!
Cheers
