Evening everyone! (I’m not sure if this is in the right section, so mods please move if needs be). I am doing a lot more stainless lately and have quite a few jobs in the pipeline. So far I either use acid cleaner to remove heat tint or mechanical cleaning, usually just with scotch bright and elbow grease lol. However, this either takes up a lot of time and doesn’t look as good or in the case of pickling adds risks. So I’m looking for an entry machine for electrochemical cleaning.
I had originally come across this:
https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Stainless-Steel-Weld-Cleaning-Electropolishing/
But not sure how well that would work so a few links bellow of some of the machines I have been looking at:

I had found the TchArc first but then came across the other two. I know the EU mark one is for etching on logo’s, but is this the same as cleaning just with a different solution?
Does anyone have any experience with these machines?
I can’t see why the TechArc is that much more in price, but also that even that is cheap compared to the more well known machines?
Another thing that popped up was which cleaning fluid to use, there are two different types I can see, one of which is a mild solution and a stronger one.
My last question is, do the welds have to be cleaned after with a neutraliser like this:
https://www.premierwelding.com/coug...g-fluid?refSrc=4120&nosto=nosto-page-product2
Sorry for the long post! Any info would be greatly appreciated and hopefully others can take something from this thread also.
