Hi,
I have acquired an Einhall 165 and tried a test weld and found it very good, but after a few welds, after releasing the trigger the main relay kept chattering in and out, releasing gas.
The machine still works when the trigger is pressed, but keeps the relay chattering until the power selector is switched to zero.
Trying again works properly for a couple of trigger actions, then the chattering starts again.
I've stripped and checked the trigger is working, removed the control board and brushed it clean. It was filthy.
I want to fix this as the machine has a euro torch added and feeds and welds very well indeed...way better than my Cemig 160, which would benefit from a Euro torch conversion and more powerful wire drive.
p.s. Is the BOC cheap rental deal still on?
TIA
