dusk/dawn sensor - 12-18v?

i've got my led courtesy lights installed on the front of the house: running at a nominal 15v. Lamps are rated 12-17v, and i'm using a 5a "15v" psu - there is a output adjustment screw which i've tweaked to get the right illumination.

i have one of these light sensors from scewfix.

which i'd like to add to the circuit.
will they run with just a 15v supply?
or will i have to use it to switch the mains side of the circuit?

But you could maybe run the mains output from the sensor to feed the power supply for the DC lamps?
