Pretty old

Got the lot by the look of it. the lathe website dates it between 1912-21. Ill need to have a closer look to refine the date.

It appears to be virtually complete. Seems it may have been treadle powered originally, i have an open cage motor and some 'ol' dexion

No intention of doing any turning with it, might clean it up and see what occurs.

Anyone else got/had one?
Its got a little history, owned by someone that used to build models for Sheperton film studios, mused to make models used in films.

Yup I just sold one, it was my fathers. They are quite a nice lathe and though it was the same size as my Atlas it was a lot sturdier. The changegears are 14dp (I thin) which is not common nowadays so if you got all of them it helps.
My dad's one was motor-driven, had a stack of parts with it (two different sets of collets, 127 tooth wheels, 3 and 4-jaw chucks, faceplate, several tool holders) and sold for a couple of hundred quid.

Been down and had another butchers.

Seems a few of the gears are misssing.Im thinking about converting it to woodturning for now. One sold on ebay for £75 without half the gears.

Managed to pinpoint a date, 1913-14, so its a pretty early one.
