I'm making a welding turntable (pics and wrtiteup to follow) and plan to use a brake disc as the go-round and roundy bit.
I'd like to drill a bunch of holes in it so that I can use mill-type clamps, but I presume that brake discs are hardened? Assuming that I avoid the reinforcing vanes, is there anything in particular that I should bear in mind?
