    Well mate went to boot sale
    Came back with these roles of 1 Thou lead sheet it is like thin cooking foil
    The blurry role is as it came he has 4.
    12 sheets in a role about 24 Inches long x 12
    What are they for, lead shim ? Something for x ray NDT ?

    Mythbusters used it to make a lead balloon - filled with helium id did float from memory.

    It's just the old school version of aluminium foil, wrap up your sandwiches in it, I'm sure you'll be fine :scared:
