Yesterday I aquired an oil welder at auction. As they say, for £35 I couldn’t afford not to buy it.
As per the title it’s branded “Donarc” and looks as though it’s been kept in good order and used recently, has a mains lead and plug on it.
As it can apparently run off multiple input voltages and has a max current output of 220A, could anyone roughly tell me what I’d be looking at getting out of a 16A 240v socket? Or would that just be trial and error tripping the breaker until I work out how high I can go?
Any other information or things I should know about this welder would be happily received.
Sorry, as usual, for the ****e photos. I’ll try and get a few in the daylight once I find someone to give me a lift out of the pickup with it.
