    hey i am looking to build a trailer for my dog. i am looking for some ideas or designs for it. i have just got the Axel made but needs ideas for the main body.

    A trailer for the dog to pull or a trailer to pull the dog in (and not behind a vehicle I trust)?

    Hello John,
    Trailers for carrying dogs are quite common for working dogs ie lurchers etc,it depends on the dog (or dogs) and how far you want to travel,i personally would'nt carry a dog in a trailer but i know people that do.

    Dog carrying trailers are quite common and perfectly safe and legal, have a look here for some top market ones.
    No different to any other livestock really, but we do spoil them:whistle:

    I wish i had a trailer for mine somedays when i see the state they emerge from a field or the woods in! (the kids could go in it aswell! :cool:)

    cheers guys lots of help there.andypocock's yes i am or putting the dog in the trailer a towing it on behind my car. i know loads of people who do it. it is either the dog dirty s the inside of the car or the trailer. i know what one i would rather have dirtied
