Hi All,
I have acquired a Nippy that I’d like to restore before pressing into service. The Acme thread is bent, and ‘d like to sort that out. The thread appears to have a splined fit into the moving jaw. There is a snall hole on one side of the jaw and what looks like a pin or plug on the corresponding side. I can’t see with my loupe what is in the hole. Whether it is threaded is not immediately apparant. I tried tapping with a pin punch. No joy. Has anyone taken a Nippy entirely to pieces and can point me in the right direction, please??
Many thanks!
