Hello, A few years ago i bought a used GTI with the 1.3mm tip and T110 aircap, have used the gun or various small projects to do allsorts and also painted my MK2 Golf a few months ago, for the first time ever i actually left some thinners in the pot as i had to rush off and hadn't cleaned the gun completely at the time. fast forward a little while after forgetting about the gun and i notice that there is hardly any fluid comming out.
So i stripped the gun down and gave it a thorough clean and re-assembled, go to use it and notice hardly any paint making it onto the wall (test paper) and instead the paint dripping from the aircap, so i strip it again and double check every hole is clear and working and re assemble, same issue. its worse with the fan fully out and abit better with the fan very small.
I've tried to get a video of the gun spraying some thinners, its not the best quality but as you can see the spray pattern is very turbulent and tends to spray alot of fluid down and out instead off forward.
Any ideas? would rather not play parts roulette as the parts seem hard to come by and expensive.
Really like this gun as a DIY'r and wouldn't mind fixing it for a few future projects.
Cheers
