Hi Folks.
I changed both upper and lower suspension arms on the D3 recently.
Following this I had a 4 wheel hunter alignment done and reset the SAS as per the book.
I have since been getting intermittent RLM fault codes:
C112F - Air spring valve actuator stuck open, actuator stuck open
and
C1130 - Air spring air supply. Signal has too many transitions/events
I cant see how these are related to the change of arms, alignment and SAS reset, but they have only come on since. I did deflate the air springs as part of the arm change process, but they were taken out of this mode once the job was done.
Any ideas what to do? I have cleared the codes and cycled the suspension several times and all fine after a drive, but it is intermittent.
Only other odd thing was I checked the centre hub to arch measurements with the car sat on level ground and running and they werent exactly close to 466 and 485:
Front Left - 483mm
Front Right - 493mm
Back Right - 495mm
Back Left - 479mm
Might need to calibrate the height but is this going to mean that the newly installed bushes are then all stressed as they were likely at the heights above when the alignment was done? Kicking myself for not checking them before it had the alignment now but before the arm change it had no issues.
Compressor was rebuilt 12 months ago using a kit from 4x4air seals and has worked perfectly since then.
It's not sinking or sitting funny and seems to rise/fall/stay as it should.
Any thoughts?
