Hi all
Friend doing an awsome conversion on an old water mill asked me to come over and cut some RSJs in situe. Last time he tried, with an angle grinder, he ended up in A&E.. So, having seen my Cut50 at work, he thought it was less risky.
So set up and started. Torch went pop-fiz-pop in very rapid cycles and didn't cut very well. Not had this before? So put it down to long extensions and voltage drop?? We tried different combos with the extensions, but no real difference. Good earth.
So I just did it with an angle grinder, having had a bit more experience on cutting things under load. No A&E needed.
Any thoughts on why the Plasma was unhappy?
