A tracksaw will cut about 9mm from the wall.Need to replace a chipboard floorboard in an upstairs bedroom, 19mm thick. Cutting on top of joists. Any ideas how I can cut right up to the wall? little circular saw blade in drill chuck or something?
Do you need to cut right up to the wall?
I'd just cut where I could get to with the saw I had, and then pull out the remaining strip.

The remaining strip may not be a strip unless it is along an outside wall. Internal walls are laid out according to the desired room configurations and most likely will not be on the edge of where the sheets of plywood come together.
Which case leave it and join too it
