someone on FB mentioned the Cut 50 cuts much better if the ionisation of the air is adjusted.
Has anyone else been told this or tried it?

I’m not brave enough to fiddle with something generating 18,000,000,000,000 volts!
Repair, yeah, but not fiddle
The only thing I could think of would be the spark gap on the hv board. Don’t know what effect it would have.
In terms of “cutting better”, though, it’s new vs used consumables that make all the difference. What kind of problem are your experiencing / want to make better?
Were you dragging (tip in contact with work) or keeping a consistent gap above the work?i was cutting 8mm box and it was messy in terms of cutting i tried slowing down speeding up maybe it is me but it didnt help, I know what you mean about new consumables tips and nozzles dont seem to last long at all

This part may be part of your problem.
I can only imagine its a reference to adjusting the air pressure , put in a very confusing way.
