courses in the west midlands

hi guys,

im based in Coventry and i've been looking for MIG welding course in the local area, i contacted both colleges and they want £230 for a 10 week course, 2 nights a week, 3 hours each night. plus students are expected to pay £100 for materials and a £36 exam fee.

this seems quite steep to me.

is there anyone that knows of any courses in the west midlands, i don't mind travelling a few extra miles if tis good tuition, eg birmingham etc

This is one of the few times that being unemployed is a plus. I paid just £36 for materials for my C&G welding course.
