Hi,
I've just started to practice using my mig welder with some sccess - the advice found on this web site has really helped - thanks.
I've had the shade setting on my welding mask set to maximum (13) but have found that this isn't giving me a particularly good view of the weld. I was practicing on some thin guage metal and so was using a low ampage on the welder. In this situation is it safe to lower the shade value or should I leave it on 13?
Thanks in advance,
David
