Hi
Please can you tell me where I can buy a decent single phase compressor from. It will have to run various air guns/DA sander/Sandblast gun and a spray gun.
At the moment I have only 13amp plugs but I could possibly upgrade for the right tool.

Machine mart do some pretty decent single phase ones at reasonable prices, shiremoor compressors are worth a look too.
You'll definitely have to go up from a 13A plug though, at least 16A, maybe even 32A.

The Clarke professional range with cast iron liners or cylinders are good value for money.

You want a serious compressor to run DA sanders and tools, cheaper to buy an electric sander and grinder and use your compressor for blowing tyres up and a bit of painting. I have a 12cfm 3hp and it struggles to run a die grinder without stopping to let it get it's breath back. You will be looking at a £600 to £800 machine to run sandblast.
