Commando sculpture installation in Wrexham

A welsh sculptor , Ian Walton has made and installed a pair of 5m tall sculptures commemerating the Welsh Miners, designed, built and installed by him and a group of volunteers. Proper stealth art, they sneak in at night and do the installation. Both the works so far made have been accepted by the local councils. Top job in my book.
It has also got me thinking when work slows down I may well try something like this.

Cool a sign of too much red tape these days - I mean it's free to all good on the guys working without financial reward but without permissions. Risk assessments. Insurance
Building regs etc etc etc.

I've not seen the town centre one but I love the one on the bersham slag heap.
