Hello this might be a daft question but I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas for what I could do, with an issue I'm having.
I needed a few cans of colour matched paint in an aerosol for a replacement bumper and bonnet for one of my cars. I've been able to spray my previous cars parts before and I was happy with the results, but this time when I've gone to Jawels paints to get my paint matched I brought along the fuel filler cap along with the paint code, I expected the result to be okay just like last time but that is extremely far from the case. The person who mixed my paint up didn't even reference my cars fuel filler cap he just asked for the code and mixed to that. I even asked him if he could double check and he said it would be fine and I could come back if I wasn't happy.
I've since contacted both the head office who told me to contact the store the store I got the paint mixed from, who said he could only mix what the computer told him. He also said I should be using a spray gun for this, while true it's just stupid if he can't get the colour right.
Also if anyone has any suggestions for good paint shops in Birmingham that would be great,
Sorry for the long post but I really would appreciate some input on what to do.
