My bike light has an led on the back of it to warn you when its below 10% charge, it went red on my way home today but I just went to plug it in and its gone green again, presumably the voltage just dropped with the cold and increased again when I got in and it warmed up.
I was just wondering, if the battery is fully charged (to 4.2V? It's lithium ion) in the cold and then warmed up, what's to stop it getting over charged and potentially damaged?
