Clutch replacement , flexible flywheel ?

So looking at renewing clutch on 2013 mitsi l200 kb4t , it has what is described as flexible flywheel which apparently not same as dual mass , how do I check for wear in the flywheel ? has anybody replaced one , clutch plate on last legs so that needs doing .

Sounds like a different name for a dual-mass.
Best bet is probably to find a all-in-one kit with the clutch and a solid flywheel.
Usually plenty of cheap offerings about but the big brands do decent kits as well.

Thanks, so pulled clutch and its solid flywheel anyways and good nick, so just need to replace clutch , winner for a change!

Borg and Beck only a badge engineering name now.

Sachs, LUK, or Valeo. Depends how much you "want" to spend.

thanks, valeo..ugh no , watched a you tube video where a guy was putting a new valeo dual mass in , replacing old one it was rattling, centre piece had worn through and he took it off there it was plain as a pike staff. valeo !

Need to be mindful that some of the solid flywheel centre plates can be sprung differently to the ones used on a dual mass. I would be checking out the part numbers of the one coming out.

thanks , will be re using original, no wear on face basically as new , clutch kit seems a lottery , might go for luk although dearer compared to reworking/replacing a cheapo one obviously cheaper long term to fit "good" brand from the get go

Same as this - had a borg and beck kit fall apart after not many miles.

Bork & Beck are only a name now .
I will never fit another one .
Sachs, LUK, or Valeo , all very good quality .
I wont fit a clutch kit without replacing the dual mass .
Well if it was my own car a possibly would .
