Hi all.
I have just bought a brand new arc welder model 145TN Turbo and I am a bit puzzled by the data plate because it does not look like the standard plate format they are showing in the manual.
I also looked online for pictures of the same welder model and the plate looks like the standard one in the manuals but it's obviously different than mine.
Question is: have Clarke changed their data plate template recently but forgot to update their instruction manuals? I find the new plate a bit light in information, obviously the duty cycle section only contains the duration in minutes of a continuous weld versus spot weld pattern but there is no mention of which Amp setting they used for that not electrode size.
Also the power supply information especially the fuse rating is not shown/clear on the new plate. On the old style it's obvious one needs a 25A fuse but on the new plate I assume is 27A? (I1max). There is also no mention in the manual of I1eff.
