Chaps,
I was swapping a tip out today and it couldn't be persuaded out by hand so I used a pair of pliers to grip it. So successfully in fact that the tip has broken in two, leaving the threaded part in the top of my torch... See below:
So, how should I get the bit of tip out? Knowing that copper is fairly soft, I plan on setting the torch in a vice then running the smallest drill bit I can find down into the torch to grind the soft copper tip away. Before I balls it up, does anybody have a better suggestion?
Regards,
Frodo
