Following comments on this site I have started experimenting with citric acid rust removal.
So far it has been an old bolt in a jar. When I moved it from my cold garage into the house and gave it a shake every now and again the process seemed to work better.
I have built a box in my garage lined with left over damp course sheeting from the concrete floor of my shed. It is long and narrow to take the bottom of the door inner pressing from my MGB. I can't bring the box and door pressing into the house so I was wondering about buying a cheap fish tank heater on ebay and perhaps air pump to give some agitation.
Has any one tried either and how did it go?
