you can buy a rear 1/4 chassis, it's easy fitted. You cut the old 1/4 out, the new one has a flared end to slide onto the remaining good section of chassis, weld it up, job done.

Crappy job. I hate doing it
I don't mind doing them, the last one I done was easy swb pickup, cut 2 holes in the floor above the chassis rails, ground the rear crossmember/tub bolts off and cut the chassis.
Fitted the rear section bolted it up, welded it and pop rivetted 2 plates over the holes. Sorted.
