Channel 4 series called homemade

Just started watching a channel 4 series called homemade. Is this case carpenters. I aint one for criticism of other people's work. But it says homemade Britain's best ! If this is all Britain's got then this country is in *** trouble.

Guy Martin has a new series out too, watched ten minutes of it, him trying to get a 600cc sports bike engine into one of those stupid APE things, utter muck.

Some of the people have done some really nice stuff, but what you have to consider is they are in a cold tent, not their own tools and the timing is quite tight, I dont think I would like to be told I have 12 hours to build a cabinet, 6 on the trot one day and 6 the next and not have my own tools or my own kettle (priorities)

Agreed , was loads of absolute tosh produced on there like only managed to watch the first episode could not handle anymore.

Seemed to be made all woke rather than showing true craftsmen even as a metal and machine fiddler paul sellers comes to mind as one of the best not the people on that show

Yes I understand that. But this is supposed to be Britain's best. So one should know there capabilities in what they can design and complete in the given time frame

I didn’t mind the young lad that just did everything off the top of his head, but I didn’t really think the layout was very good. Get a group of folk to do multiple disciplines not very well, rather than judge them on things they were actually good at

The shows he does have lost all the charm of Guy, now they could be done by any presenter 'cause most of it is done by others and he's just fronting it anyway.
