Depends on the powder really but roughly yes.WTF.
As my calculations are correct you paying about 500 pound for 1.35kg?
Man.
That’s expensive stuff.
Always if interestI found two Stubbs guns and a whole box of assorted powders when I was in my storage container having a clear out.
If I list them and put up some pictures would they be of interest to anyone?
No sadly not luckily these were in the box.I’ve rebuilt a few Eutalloy torches over the years. Been a lo g time since I had to do one, are spares still available?
I realise I am late to the party on this, but ceramic anti spatter spray works well with both flame spray and spray fuse for masking. Just cover where the deposit is to go with masking tape and spray over the areas you want to protect. Currently price per can is £15 - £20It's funny you should say about the masking compound because back in the summer I rang castolin and 500g of masking compound was £60 plus VAT plus import fee plus delivery so it was over £100.
Needless to say I didn't put an order in.
Then the other week I needed some so I rang them up and they've told me that are no longer able to get it it's been banned. Literally all it is is like miscible fatty oils as far as I can work out.
See I got a price off Oerlikon Metco a couple of months back for their masking compound and they came back with similar product but instead of it being 500g you have to have a gallon so 5 Litres more or less which was 200 odd quid but what do you do with all that masking there's really not that many people to sell it on to
yes i have some. will give it a go thank youI realise I am late to the party on this, but ceramic anti spatter spray works well with both flame spray and spray fuse for masking.
