We had the bath in our old cottage done professionally with 2 pack about 20 years ago, it looked superb when it was first done but started to deteriorate pretty quick. It would chip easily, especially if the kids dropped the shower head and it faded and lost its polish after a while.Hi - has anyone refinished a cash iron bath. Bought one years ago for our cottage as it was cheap but need to refinish it as a few patches chipped and started to rush.
I was going to epoxy full and spray with 2 pack but what are the options?
Similar story here. Our house has one of those lovely big cast iron baths, but it was a hideous yellow colour, so I re-coated it with the white two-pack stuff from “Tubby”. Cost about £60, nearly 12 years ago. Looked good at first, now very tatty, and need to be done again. We had the bath in our old cottage done professionally with 2 pack about 20 years ago, it looked superb when it was first done but started to deteriorate pretty quick.
