Hi all.
I am looking to replace my old cheap gasless welder with something a little more modern. The first issue I have is that I live in Spain and the Spanish are not a DIY nation, so choice is limited here even online. I want a welder for car body repairs. I don’t need the name of a particular welder just the specification that would be best to tackle this type of repair (amperage, wire thickness, Co2, Co2/Argon etc) although links would be useful. Secondly my only viable option is to use the mini gas cylinders as the deposit for a larger cylinder is ridiculous and I doubt that I will use that much gas. Most of the welders that I have looked at here do not have the accessories necessary for connection to mini gas bottles. I will need a regulator of some sort but again most of the regulators look like they are made for the larger bottles. Are there adaptors to make these fit. What else will I need? Sorry for all the questions but things have moved on since I bought my old welder and I am a little lost.
