Hi Folks....
Still working away on my 500 project, www.dropshots.com/ger . Wondering whats best for this joint....(the one on the right...)
Its a fairly close fitting flange joint, probably spot welded during original construction, impossible to get to now.....Rear quarter is new and I stripped the paint off both flanges before welding on the quarter.
Now I could splodge in filler to the joint but I thought that there may be a better way.......The joint is not structural, and should be visible as a line on completion. I "think" it may have been brazed at the factory, found some evidence for this at a few of the joints around the car.....
I don't have any oxy kit.....just a wee gas blowtorch. Any advice on the best approach/?
Cheers
Gerry
