I’ve got a cast iron part to repair that is okay to be brazed with silicon bronze. I will try with TIG first but I need a backup.
I have got an ESAB combination torch but no Welding nozzles/tips at the minute, however it’s not the finest thing on the earth. Not like a victor or a Harris.
So I’m going to get a Harris set from rapid.
What rods do I need to braze cast iron?
Am I better with rods and flux or the fluxed rods?
silicon bronze best or nickel bronze?
I’m not sure on what exactly the part is but I’m picking it up tonight.
