I wasn't intending to, but it came up on FB Marketplace just a few miles from me. An old Colchester Student converted to single phase which worked well when I tested it. No play in the headstock bearings, the bed is nice and true according to my old rule and feeler gauges.
Seems to have loads of tooling with it, 4 jaw, faceplate, milling chuck, 3 jaw. many cutters and MT drills, steadies, live centres, dead centres, coolant system, splashback. A wee dribble form the gearbox which I think might just be the drain plug washer but the gearbox has plenty of oil in it and there's no nasty lash in the gears.
Now to get it moved. No idea how yet, going to see about a pro company who could move it for me.
One pic, all I took.
